We're taking time this weekend to reflect on all the women who've molded this business into what it is today — from the ingredient suppliers in Sri Lanka, to my co-recipe developer Ammi. Our team is made of strong, independent women who embody the values of Gedera & Co, all while being resourceful, creative, and thoughtful.
I’m raising my daughter to believe that she can do absolutely anything that she wants to and that anything is possible. Even at her age, she is a brilliant multi-hyphenate force of nature. And I'm proud that I can show her what it's like to create a business with sustainability and equity at the center and be able to involve her in Gedera & Co. as we go.
Gedera & Co. has become a little family with different walks of life and backgrounds — from British to Columbian to Indian-American. It brings me so much joy to catch up with the team; we leave every conversation feeling inspired and with new stories to tell.
