If I have a question or issue, who should I email? 

We’re happy to help! Please email us at hello@gederaandco.com. We will try our best to get back to you in 2-3 business days.  

Where do you ship to? Do you ship internationally? 

We ship anywhere within Australia and New Zealand! At the moment, we are not able to ship internationally, but we hope to someday.  

How much does shipping cost?  

$10 flat rate shipping for domestic AUS orders and $15 flat rate shipping for New Zealand.

How long will it take for my order to ship? 

It will take us 3-4 business days to ship your order. We are a small business, so we appreciate your patience in advance!

Do you do free shipping? 

We offer free shipping for all domestic orders over $50!

Does my package come in recyclable material? 

Yes, sustainability is very important to us! Our shipping packaging comes in recyclable material and our meal kit packaging is compostable or recyclable.

Do you do returns/refunds? 

We offer returns & refunds for items that are damaged in transit or if you receive a wrong item in your order. If you are not satisfied with the product, please email us at hello@gederaandco.com!

What if the product comes damaged?

Can I add a gift note to my order? Are prices listed in the package? 

Yes, you can add a gift note to your order. Prices are not listed in the package receipt; just a packing slip with the quantity of the products is included in the order.

When does your product expire? How long is the shelf-life? 

Because our packaging is compostable, it is safe to use 12 months from the date of packaging listed on the meal kit box. 

Are your products vegan?

Yes, all of our products are vegan; even our coconut milk powder is vegan!

Are your products gluten-free or nut-free?

Gluten-free? The core ingredients in each meal kit are gluten free, but they are processed in a facility alongside products that are not gluten-free.

Where is Sri Lanka? 

Sri Lanka is an island country located off the Southern coast of India. As a result, you will see some South Indian influences in Sri Lankan cooking, as well as Indonesian & Dutch influences. Our founder, Jayani, is Sri Lankan-Aussie!

What are the main flavours or ingredients in Sri Lankan cooking? 

Sri Lankan dishes can have 8 to 10 spices per dish — sometimes even as many as 15 to 16 spices. 

Is Sri Lankan food spicy? 

Sri Lankan food is known for its spiciness; dishes can have 8 to 12 spices in it. However, spiciness doesn’t necessarily mean that the food is hot! 

What makes Sri Lankan cooking different from other South Asian cuisines? 

Sri Lankan cuisines utilizes a lot of coconut-based flavours, and we love that Sri Lankan food contains a diversity of unique flavours and textures! You will see fun ingredients in our home cooking kits, from dried garcinia to pandan leaves. 

What is unique about Sri Lankan cuisine? 

Sri Lankan food is known for their bold & intricate flavours. Common herbs & spices include curry leaves, black pepper, cinnamon, and cumin. Coconut is also a  key ingredient that gives the food a delightful layer of creamy &nutty flavours.
