AT THE GEDERA TABLE #10: Beginning of the year catch-up
Happy New Year! We hope you’re taking care and easing into 2025. We’ve been a bit quiet these past few months! We’re about to complete our first year in business after launching in February 2024 (time is flying, isn’t it?).
We’re thrilled to be back with more Gedera & Co in the New Year. These past few weeks, the team and I took some much needed time off. We’ve been spending time in nature, exploring our creativity, and planning all sorts of exciting new things for 2025. This break has really allowed us to tend to our needs and priorities.
Back in November, some of you were curious to know whether we’d do a Black Friday or Holiday sale. As a small business, we had to prioritize our time and resources, so we decided to sit this season out. And to be real with you, we haven’t had many orders come in these past few months. In the long run, though, we’re taking things at our own pace and slowing down in order to create a more sustainable foundation for Gedera & Co. For years to come.
That brings me to something exciting: we’re getting some new Cooking Kits ready for you! Especially some highly requested vegetarian Sri Lankan dishes are in-store this year.
Ammi and I — the R&D dream team — have been busy in the kitchen, cooking up a storm. You don’t know how many times I’ve gotten Ammi to cook certain dishes! It’s been iterations, after iterations after iterations. But when we taste something and know the spice blend ratios are just right for you, it’s such a priceless feeling.
